“Our mission is to build strong spiritual ties between the Christian and Jewish communities by educating on the importance of supporting God’s chosen people through love and service. We focus on volunteering in Israel, sharing our experiences, and speaking truth in a world often clouded by misinformation.”
Michael and Bridget Bartlett share a deep love for Israel and the Jewish people. Married for 28 years, they have raised three wonderful children: Gage, Jace, and Megan. In 2022, after a life-changing trip to Israel, the Bartletts were inspired to dive deeper into scripture, igniting a hunger for God’s word like never before. On October 7th, 2023, as news broke of horrific attacks on innocent Israelis, they felt a powerful calling to act. Michael came home from hunting to find Bridget in tears, and they both knew they had to return to Israel to offer their love and support. Shortly after, they booked their trip, and during that journey, God’s calling on their hearts was confirmed. This page is dedicated to the incredible people they met on that trip—people they now consider family.
If you found this site and you are one of our Christian brothers and sisters, we hope it inspires you to dig deeper into God's word. It is our prayer that it will open your eyes to all that God has in store for you. We hope that you will begin to study the word of God through the eyes of Jesus our Jewish Savior. We encourage you to be a part of blessing the nation of Israel and join us in praying for the peace of Jerusalem, as we are commanded in scripture to do. Stand up, do not be silent when antisemitism raises its ugly head. Now go ahead plan that bucket list trip to the Holy Land, don't wait the nation of Israel cannot wait to greet you.
If you are one of our Jewish friends, it is our prayer that you will be encouraged by our words. We pray that you will know that you are loved by the God of all creation, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Know that we are praying fully believing that God will not forget his promises to you. And we pray that he will give us the strength to stand beside you, help protect you, and comfort you; even when it is hard. When it seems, the world is against you, you will always have a friend in us.
-Michael & Bridget
Since Jesus, Yeshua is Jewish, and his disciples were also Jewish; shouldn’t that encourage us to look at his teachings through the eyes of the Jews. His audience throughout his ministry was predominantly his Jewish brothers and sisters. He would have spoken in a language that they understood and used examples from their daily lives. He came to be the savior of the Jews “the lost sheep of Israel” first, and then to us, the gentiles. And in his death, he brought salvation to the whole world. He taught his disciples a new way of living by exposing the very heart of the law, the love of his father, ADONAI.
Before Jesus’ arrest he prayed for all believers both the Jew and the Gentile.
“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray for all of them who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me, and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one. I in them and you in me-so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them as you have loved me.” John 17:20-26
We do not think it was any coincidence that one of Jesus final prayers over us was that we would become one! We are not alone in this as many of the people we have spoken with during our travels to Israel express the same feeling. “But how do we do that?” as our friend from the old city asked. Jesus’ entire ministries was based on love. When he was asked what the most important commandment was, he said to love the LORD and love each other.
“Love the LORD your God with all your heart and all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Mathew 28:37-40
Jesus was the greatest example of this by the way he showed love. He loved those who loved him and those who did not. He loved and showed compassion to all without “judging” he called us to repentance without shame and guilt. He never condoned sin, but he never condemned the sinner either only the sin itself. His love was the perfect reflection of the father’s love. And God the Father loved us so much that John 3:16 says:
For God so loved the world that he gave his only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Everyone, the whole world, both the Jew and the gentile, whoever believes in him! Isn’t that beautiful? God does not break his promises; his word is irrevocable. This is a fundamental belief. If we as Christ followers believe this then we must recognize his promises to his chosen people still stand today and forever. We must read the word through the context of whom it was originally written to, the Jewish people. The Bible is the living word, written for the entire world, for generations to come to know God. But the words were originally spoken and lived first by the Jewish people. Therefore, our understanding of the word is best when we understand the people, the time and the places of its origins. We as Christians are grafted into Israel. Because of Christ we are a part of the promise. But this is only through Jesus Christ, a Jew. He came for this very reason to restore us to one another, and to himself.
For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace, and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility. Ephesians 2:14-16
We know that we cannot stand before God in our sin, we must make atonement. Jesus was the lamb, our perfect sacrifice to take away our sin and restore our relationship with God the Father so that we can once again come into his presence. I believe God’s plan and desire all along was to restore the intimacy and shalom of the garden. Jesus’ death and the veil torn for our sins was the restoration of that intimacy. He never meant for us to create a new religion apart from his people. Jesus is God’s son. A religion apart from his people would be against God.
He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit. Ephesians 2:17-18
We MUST get over and fight all forms replacement theology in our churches. For if we or anyone has replaced Israel then we have nothing to stand on and our God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob can be called a liar. And we know he is not!! We must fight antisemitism and stand with Israel praying for peace and prosperity of the God’s chosen people.
Will you join us in standing up against antisemitism and pray for Israel? It is easy you can use the following Psalms as a guide.
Psalm 20- For protection & trust in the LORD
Psalm 122- For the Peace of Jerusalem
"For we do not fight against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." -Ephesians 6:12
