This is our second trip to Israel. This time, though, it’s so different. The emotions are raw—it’s painful, difficult, and yet incredibly rewarding. There are moments when I wish I could do more, anything at all, but I’m unsure where to begin. Then, I am reminded by so many around me: You are here—and that speaks volumes.
The pain and broken hearts we see are real, and it’s hard to get through each day. I want to hug everyone I meet, hold them close, because I’ve never witnessed such deep hurt mixed with such big smiles. Despite everything, there is an unwavering strength in the people here.

We are here to listen, to love, and to work. And through it all, the most rewarding part is that we are united with the most beautiful people in the world.
Throughout each day, so many talented and beautiful souls bring light in the form of music, filling the air with hope and unity. We met an incredible young woman today—her spirit was infectious, and she brightened our day in a way we’ll never forget. We honor her by keeping her memory private, but her impact on us is something we carry forward in our hearts.
